St. Clair High School will be offering online classes for the students at the start of the 2014-2015 school year. Many of the classes are labeled “recovery,” which means they can be taken if students failed the course in the classroom setting the first time around. Special advanced placement courses also may be available. Some of the online courses will also be offered during the summer. “This opportunity allows students to take classes that we do not offer in a regular classroom setting,” Hunter said. Hunter also said that the selection process for the classes will be looked at on a case-by-case basis, and students could be placed in a specific class for a variety of reasons. The high school students have been told about the online offerings and are eager to receive the entire list of courses this fall.
